The Great Manchester Run

On Sunday 28th May, Aimee-Jai Dunlop-Molnar and Joanna Dobson bravely conquered The Great Manchester Run. The 10km race is the biggest of its kind in Europe. Additionally, 10’s of thousands of people made their way to the course. From athletes, to fundraisers and self-motivators. Furthermore, Jo tackled the course in under one hour! With a fantastic time of 57 minutes and 44 seconds and Aimee-Jai finished in 1 hour and 31 minutes, excellent time considering she had a baby on board. Congratulations AJ!

Additionally, AJ said,

“The Great Manchester Run is always a brilliant atmosphere. It was quieter this year due to recent events, but the overall support from the crowd was phenomenal as ever! At 7 months pregnant, this year was a struggle but at least next year I will smash my personal best! Hopefully, all money raised will help those in need.”

Furthermore, Jo Dobson said,

The Great Manchester Run was a brilliant event. In light of what happened earlier that week, I was hesitant to take part but so pleased that I did. So many people turned out to support the runners. It was very touching and a real show of togetherness. I was over the moon to finish with a PB! 57:44 which is 10 minutes faster than my first 10k in February.”
