What is it?
Your free stock holding service, where consignment stock is held at your site at no extra cost to you. This makes your life much easier, with stock easily available for your engineers, saving them from having to collect ancillary products en route to site, or leaving site with installs incomplete.
Consignment stock remains the property of Quality Essential Distribution and is available for you to draw from at any time. You are invoiced for what you use at the end of every month, and it’s automatically re-stocked – it couldn’t be simpler!
How it Works
Planning the Stock – we work with you to identify the stock you need and then transfer the agreed stock from our warehouse to your warehouse at no cost to you.
Use – the stock is now conveniently stored on your premises for immediate access.
Internal Paperwork – you run your internal systems in the exactly the same way as normal to ensure correct costings are carried forward to each of your installs and you have visibility of where the stock is going.
Inventory Report – you provide us with an inventory of the stock you have remaining and we replenish the stock back up to the original agreed levels.
Payment – monthly inventories are taken and you will only pay for what you’ve used.
