Silvernet improve their cost effective range of WISP equipment

The Silvernet ECHO Product range is especially suited for rural and WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) type applications where cost is most important. The ECHO-ST will save money, whilst servicing the need to construct a solid and reliable wireless system. Therefore, replacing the requirement for expensive leased lines.

Silvernet have improved a number of areas of the ECHO system for G2 whilst not increasing the cost. Improvements include:

• Improved Mountings
• Upgraded PSU
• Expanded firmware features (this also operates on the G1 version)
• Improved SilverView integration

Did you know the ECHO has a feature called phase shift? This nudges the rf channel across 5Mhz and means that the signal is undetectable to non-ECHO WiFi devices. Additionally, to assist installation engineers, Silvernet have provided default configuration files for UK band B or band C. This ensures it is easy to setup an ECHO wireless link legally for UK installations.
