Behind every great company is a team of great women. This is definitely true here at QED. The company would not be what it is today without the amazing women behind the scenes who work incredibly hard to make QED one of the leading CCTV and security distributors.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we wanted to honour these fantastic women. Introducing… the women of QED.

Abbie O’Leary – Customer Services Administrator (SOP)

Abbie joined QED in August 2022. A fun fact about Abbie… she has a cat called Nacho who likes to go for walks in his harness and is not impartial to a late night car trip to McDonalds!

One of her happiest achievements is walking out with AC Milan, with footballers such as Ronaldinho, Shevchenko, Beckham, Maldini, and Pirlo in Dubai (we’re not jealous at all!)

Ashleigh Stables – Digital Marketing Assistant

Ashleigh joined QED in July 2022. A fun fact about Ashleigh… she once attended a Five concert when she was younger but fell asleep and missed the entire gig!

One of her most memorable achievements is interrailing around Europe when she graduated – she visited a whopping 9 countries in one month.

Barbara Squires – Purchase Ledger Assistant

Barbara joined QED in February 2021. A fun fact about Barbara… she grew up on a farm and used to look after two donkeys from Blackpool beach for the winter, they were called Batman and Robin! (Best names ever.)

One of her greatest achievements is her happy marriage and her two sons; George and Robert.

Charlotte Greenwood – Warehouse Operative

Charlotte joined QED in July 2021. A fun fact about Charlotte… she has an Instagram account for her dog, Vinnie, which already has over 1000 followers! Follow @vinniecavapoo to keep up to date with all things Vinnie.

One of her greatest achievements is playing for PNE Women. She really is a talented footballer – Sarina Wiegman keep a look out!

Danuta Plewa – Warehouse Operative

Danuta joined QED full time in December 2022. A fun fact about Danuta… she is from Poland and has a wonderful accent we all love!

One of her happiest achievements is being able to communicate in both English and Polish – we have to say it is very impressive.

Hannah Whittle – Operations Manager

Hannah has been with QED for almost 10 years, joining in 2014. A fun fact about Hannah… she’s pregnant with her first child – and we couldn’t be happier for her!

One of her happiest achievements is passing her motorbike test – that really is amazing!

Helena Brian – Finance Controller

Helena joined us in September 2022. A fun fact about Helena… she absolutely loves cars and heavy metal music!

One of her happiest achievements is having a happy family to come home to – and we couldn’t agree more.

Lauren Hallam – Purchasing Assistant

Lauren joined QED in January 2022. A fun fact about Lauren… she has skied down part of the Olympic run in Italy! Now that is impressive.

One of her greatest achievements is moving from our customer service team to purchasing within her first 6 months, and she really is excelling in her new role.

Lisa Rogerson – Credit Controller

Lisa has been with QED for just over 9 years, joining us in 2014. A fun fact about Lisa… she used to work as a milk lady, delivering milk to doorsteps. Getting up at 3am wasn’t her type of fun (we don’t blame you!) but she did really enjoy the job.

Apart from having two wonderful children, running a family home, and working full time, one of her greatest achievements is making time to study for her AAT qualification in accounting. We know you’re going to pass with flying colours Lisa!
