The Uni Tube Steel Tape Armoured Cable is suitable for installation in the most demanding, harsh environments. The cable has excellent tensile strength, crush resistance characteristics and is also rodent proof. The cable consists of a central jelly filled tube, with up to twenty four optical fibres inside.

Description

The tube is protected with a water blocking glass yarn and a thick inner corrugated steel tape armour is then applied. A black FRNC/LSZH outer sheath then protects the cable construction and is extremely resistant to the ingress of moisture.

A choice of multimode and singlemode fibre types and specifications are offered ranging from 2, up to 24 fibre configurations. This tough rugged cable is ideal for all external environments including LAN direct burial, tunnels and heavy-duty ducts.
