Bringing together different aspects of security management can be challenging. BlueLINE: Award-Winning Security Readers

As part of the BlueLINE Readers range, the RBH-M45 mullion mount reader reads 13.56mhz Mifare or Desfire encrypted cards and tags for the highest level of security. These readers can also be ordered with Bluetooth and NFC capability for the ability to read RBH UHSC mobile credentials (available for free in the App store).

The readers come standard with 50-bit wiegand output and can be ordered with 34-bit output for third party systems. For ultra-secure installations readers can be ordered with OSDP1 & 2 capability. All readers are potted for indoor and outdoor use.

Supporting multiple CCTV makes and models on the same system simultaneously provides enhanced flexibility and freedom of choice. Simplifying video search or allowing access point control directly from the live video screen provides a wide range of user-friendly features.

Over the internet or office LAN, a system user has direct system-wide access to live video, event viewing, history event-based video search and video export functionalities. Custom tailored assignments link individual access and monitoring points to specific cameras across multiple DVRs, providing an ability to set pre- and post-alarm viewing preferences and PTZ shots.

RBH’s system provides direct access to CCTV features from the system status screen, event log display and history report module.

Netgenium: Delivering IP PoE Solutions

Netgenium are a UK manufacturer of a range of IP Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) products and solutions. Today, their portfolio has gradually expanded to include what is undoubtedly the most comprehensive IP Public Address solution available on the market.

Their recently developed range of PoE Powered Analogue Speakers now offers installers an easy, timesaving and cost-saving solution to add audio to new and existing installations.

Netgenium IP Audio System

The Netgenium IP Audio system is an incredibly scalable and flexible network-based solution that, once installed, offers a vast range of functionality.

The range of functionality has led to the IP Audio solution being installed into many vertical sectors including schools, warehouses, car parks, retail stores, transport systems and residential properties, to name a few.

The flexibility of the system means that a system installed today, offering a lockdown alert solution in a school, could also be used as a class change system, a public address system, a music streaming system, etc. from day one or sometime in the future.

The IP audio system range features 8 IP PoE speaker models, all of which feature on-board memory for storing audio files, 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs, microphone input for 2-way audio, and so much more.

Communication methods include Netgenium NGxControl PC/Server software, CCTV system integration, Sentinel remote monitoring software integration, 100v Line analogue speaker system integration and IP telephony integration amongst many others.

PoE Powered Analogue Speakers

The Netgenium range of PoE Powered Analogue speakers provide installers with an easy solution to add audio to new and existing installations.

Using two cables, simply connect the speaker to an analogue audio source (like a CCTV camera or NVR) and power from a PoE power source such as an existing network switch, midspan, injector or extender.

A user or monitoring station simply talks to the CCTV camera and any audio is played through the PoE Powered Analogue Speaker. Some CCTV cameras have a built-in speaker to play live or pre-recorded announcements, adding a Netgenium PoE Powered Analogue speaker will increase both the volume and quality of the audio.

Powering via PoE brings huge benefits. By removing the need for mains voltage power supplies and an electrician to install them, it both simplifies the installation and reduces installation cost. The Netgenium PoE Powered Analogue speaker follows the PoE rules which guarantees full power up to 100m. The speaker has also been tested with PoE Extenders and PoE Splitters and for one installation, the speaker and CCTV camera were both powered 850m from the main hub.

The Netgenium PoE Powered Analogue speakers range includes 2 speaker models, power by PoE, a manual volume control and an RCA Phono lead to connect to the audio source. They’re also a customer favourite due to their easy to install and cost-effective features.

Netgenium PoE Powered Analogue speakers are used to help protect private homes, construction sites, business units, solar farms, and car parks.
