Quality Essential Distribution (QED) is happy to announce that Lauren Hallam, who joined QED in Jan 2022 as Customer Service Administrator, has been promoted internally to Purchasing Assistant.
Amy McIntyre, Purchasing Manager, pictured left above said:
“I’m delighted Lauren has joined the purchasing team to support the plans we have to accelerate and develop QED’s supply chain and give a more strategic focus to the role of purchasing within the business.
Lauren’s experience and understanding of customer needs is a bonus and a good foundation which will be useful when she’s speaking and negotiating with suppliers. I’m confident she will be successful in the role and help us continue to deliver high quality products and value to customers. “

I really enjoyed my time in customer services and so grateful for all the support and training I’m receiving from everyone at QED. I can’t wait to start working full-time in purchasing.”
